About Pabna Cadet College

The handover date is on record here, which is not true of many institutions. Mr Abdul Bashar, then principal of the Residential Model School, handed full control on 15 May 1981 to Mr Syed Salimullah, project director and founder principal of Pabna Cadet College. The college began with 170 boys transferred from the former school, organised into four classes.

The college motto is "Perseverance is Success". Its three houses are Bhashani, Titumir and Siraji. The names are worth noticing: where Rajshahi Cadet College’s houses carry the names of commanders from Islamic history, Pabna’s draw on this region’s own political and literary tradition.

How students actually get into Pabna Cadet College
