Where the final routine is published

The routine is published by the education board, and it appears first as a signed PDF on the board’s own notice board. The routine is common across the nine general boards, so whatever is on any one of their sites applies to you as well — the madrasah and technical boards issue their own.

Your school also distributes a copy, and that is the most reliable printed source, because the institution receives it directly from the board.

Telling a genuine copy from a fake

First question: did it come from a board website, or from a Facebook post or a coaching image?
Check the PDF for the board’s name, a memo number and a signature.
If the heading carries the word "প্রস্তাবিত" (proposed), it is not final.
If you see two different dates in two places, trust neither — go to the board site.
A routine can be revised; the notice with the latest date is the one in force.

What a routine contains

A board routine is not only a list of subjects and dates. It carries the exam timing, the order of theory and practical parts, how the time is split between sections of the paper, instructions on reporting to the centre, and the list of what may and may not be carried into the hall. Those closing instructions change from cycle to cycle, and students typically read the dates and skip the rest — which is exactly where trouble at the centre comes from.

What to do before it arrives

Decide your subject order — which one will need the most time.
Take the weak subjects first; once the routine lands there is little room to reorder.
Treat your school’s selection exam as a rehearsal for the real one.
Bookmark your board’s site and check the notices regularly.
