SSC 2026 Certificate and Testimonial

বাংলায় পড়তে চাও? দেখো: এসএসসি ২০২৬ সনদ ও প্রশংসাপত্র

SSC documents are not a one-time matter. Job applications, a passport, higher study — even many years later these are the first papers asked for, and on any question of date of birth the SSC certificate is normally treated as the decisive record.

Which paper does what

DocumentWhat it is for
Original certificateFormal proof that you passed

TestimonialThe institution’s certification of conduct and study

How collection works

The original certificate and marksheet go from the board to the institution, and students collect them there. The testimonial is issued by the institution itself. A transcript or a special attestation is applied for separately through the board’s stated process. In every case, carrying copies of the admit card and registration card helps.

Correcting an error in the name

An error in your name, your parents’ names or your date of birth should be corrected as soon as possible, because the process grows more complicated with time and later causes trouble with a passport or a job application. The correction is applied for at the board through your institution, with the birth registration and earlier academic documents as evidence.

How to keep them

  1. Never part with an original permanently — give an attested copy.
  2. Keep a scan of every document somewhere safe.
  3. Keep all academic papers together in one dedicated file.
  4. Use plastic sleeves to protect them from damp and folding.

The application process, required documents and fee for certificates and transcripts are set by board instruction; check your own board’s announcement.
