The great advantage of the primary teacher exam is that its syllabus is familiar and bounded. The questions sit near secondary level, so a large part of preparation can be finished from the board textbooks.

Questions here frequently follow the language and examples of the secondary textbooks. Reading the class 9–10 Bangla grammar, English grammar and mathematics texts properly is therefore far more effective than buying a shelf of guides — and considerably cheaper.

An order of preparation

1. Start with mathematics — it is a habit and needs time.
2. Run Bangla grammar alongside, a chapter a day.
3. Then English grammar, area by area.
4. General knowledge across the whole period, a little daily.
5. In the last month, only past papers and your error notebook.

The shape of the questions here has been fairly stable across years, so working past papers is not merely practice — it is effectively a second reading of the syllabus. Build a tally of how often each chapter has appeared and the decision about where to spend time makes itself.
