A small section with dependable marks — high return on little reading.

The Computer Section of Bank Exams

বাংলায় পড়তে চাও? দেখো: ব্যাংক পরীক্ষার কম্পিউটার অংশ

The computer section is small in bank exams but its marks are the most dependable. The questions do not demand deep technical knowledge and the reading is bounded — which makes the return on time here the highest available.

The banking technology part is different

Beyond generic computer questions, bank exams include some directly about banking technology — how an online transaction works, the basics of card systems, the security of digital payments. That part is not in a general ICT text, so it has to be assembled from news and explanatory writing about banking technology.

Build the terminology list

A large share of questions here asks for the expansion and function of acronyms. Keep one page with the full form and a one-line explanation beside each, marking the banking-related ones separately — before the exam that single page is enough.

Practise the number systems

The one place here where reading is not enough is number-system conversion. Decimal to binary and binary to hexadecimal — working each conversion ten times yourself saves time in the hall and brings the error rate close to zero.
