Model dialogue between two friends about the value of games before an examination.
One friend has stopped playing before the examinations; the other argues that it is costing him marks.
A dialogue between Imran and Faisal
Imran: Faisal, you have stopped coming to the field in the afternoons. Why?
Faisal: The examinations are near. My father says games are a waste of time now.
Imran: Do you agree with him?
Faisal: Half of me does. But I study worse than before, not better.
Imran: That does not surprise me. An hour of football used to clear your head. Now you sit at the same desk all day.
Faisal: Is there any real evidence for that, or is it just what players say?
Imran: Our biology teacher explained it. Exercise improves sleep and blood flow to the brain, and both affect memory.
Faisal: I do sleep badly these days.
Imran: There you are. And games teach things a book cannot — losing, waiting your turn, playing for a side.
Faisal: My father would say those are luxuries before an examination.
Imran: Then ask him for forty minutes, not two hours. Nobody fails because of forty minutes of exercise.
Faisal: That is a reasonable case. I think he would accept it.
Imran: Come tomorrow at five, then. We are short of a defender anyway.
Faisal: I will be there. And I will tell you on Sunday whether my studying improves.

Give the second speaker a real objection — a father who thinks games waste time before an examination — and let the first answer it. Benefits that answer an objection persuade; benefits recited in a row are an essay divided between two names.
Yes. Naming football, cricket, kabaddi or badminton makes the dialogue concrete, and mentioning a position or a fixture makes it more so. Vague references to "games and sports" throughout are what most scripts write.
A compromise rather than a victory. Agreeing on forty minutes instead of two hours is realistic and shows both speakers listening, which reads far better than one speaker simply accepting everything the other has said.
