Bangladesh and Global Studies holds history, geography and society together. Class 6 is where the acquaintance with all three begins, and the habits formed here carry through to class 10.

The names in the geography part — rivers, districts, neighbouring countries — are only names on the page but positions on a map. Positions stay in memory far longer, so reading with a map open roughly halves the memorising. Build that habit in class 6 and it serves you to class 10.
