Because DAAD does not run the courses — it funds courses run by universities, and each keeps its own admissions calendar. Find your course in the EPOS database; the date printed there is the one that binds.

What this cycle pays

- Health, accident and personal liability insurance
- Return airfare plus a study and research allowance
- A German language course of up to six months, depending on the programme
Questions about this cycle
Usually not. EPOS targets working professionals from developing countries, so most courses ask for at least two years of relevant experience after your degree. Without it, general DAAD or university-run scholarships are the more realistic route.
